What skills do I need to lead a society?
Students will be given training and skill workshops so all they really need is a bit of motivation to start.
Leading a society at Your Students’ Union is an extremely rewarding experience for any student. These voluntary roles equip you with a whole range of new skills such as:
- Effective oral and written communication
- Financial management
- Project planning and execution
- Team management and leadership
You can also get rewarded by our very own Leadership Awards and Leadership Badges, which are compatible with LinkedIn and recognized by employers.
Students can apply and choose to be President, Treasurer, Inclusion Officer, or a fourth role of their choice.
